Generosity Banquet Recap

Joyful Gathering

Our church family gathered on Sunday evening for a banquet to rejoice in God’s goodness and generosity to us over Hope’s 47 years. We enjoyed a tremendous meal, and an atmosphere that only fellowship in the Spirit could produce. Every age group and every era of the church participated in preparing the space, the meal, and the service. From the decor and place settings to the greeters and servers, we served and were served in charity. 

Jesus Glorified

Our service time was filled with songs and testimonies. There were songs of thanksgiving, reminding us of God’s faithfulness and goodness. There were testimonies of God’s saving grace, and His provision for our needs. From God’s Word, Pastor Marshall showed the ways that God’s grace fuels our generosity and how our grace-fueled generosity is a witness to the lost, an encouragement to the saints, and even an encouragement to our own hearts proving our love for our Savior.

Generous Giving

The evening’s final expression of gratitude was an offering to the Lord. Saints gave as they had purposed and as God directed. Over $57,000.00 was given and an additional $25,000.00 was pledged. Thanks be to God!

Next Steps & Guidance

Combining previous giving with the banquet offering and commitments totals over $161,000.00. Our budgeted expense for the Raise the Roof Project is $360,000.00. Our main roofing contractor has already been secured and we are working to finalize our EIFS contractor. Construction will begin in late Spring of this year (2026). Talks have begun with financial institutions to obtain a line of credit for expenses beyond what we have cash to cover. Any giving toward Continuing Hope (Building Fund) will go toward the Raise the Roof Project. Please be in prayer that God’s hand of guidance and blessing continues over this project, and that He will receive glory from our efforts.
